[Dopamine synthesis by non-dopaminergic neurons of the rat fetus arquate nucleus].

Our hypothesis was tested in respect to dopamine synthesis by non-dopaminergic neurons expressing individual complementary enzymes of the DA synthetic pathway. According to the hypothesis, L-dihydroxyphenylalanine (L-DOPA) synthesised in tyrosine hydroxylase(TH)-expressing neurons for conversion to dopamine. The mediobasal hypothalamus of rats on the 21st embryonic day was used as an experimental model.

[Experience in laser treatment of primary glaucoma].

An Interdistrict Laser Center has been functioning in Vladivostok for 10 years. Laser exposure was used in the treatment of 749 patients with primary glaucoma. Yatagan-1, Orion-3001, YAG Pegaus-3002 lasers (Germany) were employed.

[Tissue micro-diastasis and closed micro-cavities of the surgical zone in glaucoma surgery].

Investigation of methods of antiglaucoma surgery in order to control the cicatrization of filtration routes of intraocular fluid discharge is carried out at the Vladivostok Medical Institute since 1989. A total of 662 operations are analyzed, which were carried out using an original method with "inverted trapezium"-shaped dissection of the deep tissues of the sclera. A microsurgical knife designed by the authors and patented was used.

[The component composition of the human cortical motor potential during static muscle loading].

In summation and averaging of sections of the EEG of sensorimotor cortex of both cerebral hemispheres recorded during human static effort of definite duration, a complex of negative-positive oscillations was observed. These oscillations appear before the beginning of the effort, accompany its execution and finishing and are also recorded after cessation of muscles activity. Before the beginning, the potential of readiness is formed.
