Background: The healthcare sector demands a higher degree of responsibility, trustworthiness, and accountability when implementing Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems. Machine learning operations (MLOps) for AI-based medical diagnostic systems are primarily focused on aspects such as data quality and confidentiality, bias reduction, model deployment, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement. However, so far, MLOps techniques do not take into account the need to provide resilience to disturbances such as adversarial attacks, including fault injections, and drift, including out-of-distribution.

Subclass Ceriantharia is a well-defined and probably ancient group of marine benthic organisms renowned for their bilateral symmetry, which is reflected in the arrangement of tentacles and mesenteries. Four species of Ceriantharia have been reported in the Arctic, including Gosse, 1859, also known from the Northern Atlantic and Northern Pacific. The integrity of this species was questioned in the literature, so we performed a molecular study of from several geographically distant locations using 18S and COI genes.

Background: The inhaled lung-selective pan-Janus kinase inhibitor nezulcitinib had favourable safety and potential efficacy signals in part 1 of a phase 2 trial in patients with severe COVID-19, supporting progression to part 2.

Methods: Part 2 was a randomised, double-blind phase 2 study (NCT04402866). Hospitalised patients aged 18-80 years with confirmed symptomatic COVID-19 requiring supplemental oxygen (excluding baseline invasive mechanical ventilation) were randomised 1:1 to nebulised nezulcitinib 3 mg or placebo for up to 7 days with background standard-of-care therapy (including corticosteroids).

Patients And Methods: Materials and methods: Modeling of obesity in males of white outbred rats (n = 50) which were induced high-calorie diet with high animal fat content. Weight was measured before the induced diet, 1,2,3 months after the start of the induced diet and 2 months after surgery to assess the dynamics of excess weight loss.
