Formalizing the use of training methods in developing a career path.

Coaching methods are aimed at motivating people to achieve career or social skills. Therewith, coaching acts only as an additional form of career development for persons engaged in certain professions. The novelty of the study lies in the need to apply coaching methods not only during the period of active career implementation, but also during its interruption.

[Chemoradioresistance of the female reproductive system cancer--can local laser hyperthermia contribute to its overcoming?].

There is presented the method of local laser hyperthermia on the domestic nanotechnological optic-fiber device LAZON-FT integrated into the program of brachytherapy for tumors of the female reproductive system. This is a universal radiosensibilizator that demonstrates the acceleration of tumor regression also during local and systemic chemotherapy--tumor regression at 50-705 in such conditions permits recommend it in locally advanced cervical and endometrial cancer as well as cancer of the vulva and vagina in the frames of combined use with brachytherapy and chemotherapy.

Ethnicity versus migration: two hypotheses about the psychosocial adjustment of immigrant adolescents.

Unlabelled: STUDY BACKGROUND AND AIMS: This study investigates the psychosocial adjustment of immigrant adolescents and examines two hypotheses: the ethnicity hypothesis, which suggests that ethnic background determines the psychosocial reactions of immigrant adolescents; and the migration hypothesis, which suggests that the migration experience determines such reactions.

Methods: The study compared four groups of respondents: first-generation immigrants (N = 63) and second-generation immigrants (N = 64) from the former Soviet Union (FSU) in Israel; and Jewish (N = 212) and non-Jewish (N = 184) adolescents in the FSU. A self-report questionnaire administered to the respondents collected demographic, educational and psychological data using standardised scales.

Liposomal diamidine (imidocarb): preparation and animal studies.
