Objective: Previous research suggests an overall lower cardiovascular disease mortality among ethnic German Resettlers from the Former Soviet Union. However, evidence points to a high burden of metabolic risk factors and chronic conditions among Resettlers, factors which are correlated to lower levels of physical activity. Thus, this study aims to assess factors associated with physical activity among Resettlers, by investigating the interplay between biopsychosocial factors and physical activity between men and women.

Methods: Following the PRISMA-ScR guidelines, we conducted a scoping review using PubMed, Embase, and Scopus, focusing on studies published from 2011 to 2024.
Results: Our review included 52 studies that encompassed 244,004 participants.
Vibrational dynamics associated with excited-state intramolecular proton transfer in 3-hydroxyflavone and 3-hydroxy-2-(thiophen-2-yl)chromen-4-one are characterized with ultrafast transient infrared spectroscopy. The spectroscopic data reveal rapid (<100 fs) proton transfer dynamics in both species, followed by vibrational relaxation of the tautomer products within a few picoseconds. Coherent coupling of the shared proton to low-frequency modes along the hydrogen bond coordinate are also observed in the ground electronic states.

The mammalian ear, responsible for balance and hearing, is not only characterised by its spectacular evolutionary incorporation of several bones of the jaw, it also varies considerably in shape across modern mammals. Using a multivariate approach, we show that in Afrotheria, a monophyletic clade with morphologically and ecologically highly disparate species, inner ear shape has evolved similar adaptations as in non-afrotherian mammals.
