Objective: To determine the efficacy of cortexin in treatment of traumatic brain injuries with contusion of moderate severity in children in an outpatient clinics.
Materials And Methods: Seventy-four patients, aged 6-13 years, with a traumatic brain injury and a moderate brain contusion were examined. A comprehensive clinical examination, including neurological and ophthalmological examinations, EEG, brain CT scan, testing using a set of experimental psychological techniques, was performed.
Purpose: To determine the relationships between the changes in functional parameters of vision that occur in primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG) patients on neuroprotective therapy.
Material And Methods: The study included 146 patients with stages I-III POAG aged 40 to 85 years. The patients were randomly divided into the study group and the control group at 2:1 ratio.
Sonographic parameters of spleen in children living in the Orenburg region taking into account the level and character of anthropogenous pollution of territory of residing are studied. The analysis of indicators of pollution of factors of inhabitancy (atmospheric air, potable water soil) is carried out. One-stage population research of 7000 children aged from 1 to 18 years living in urbanized and rural territories is conducted.

A control group comprised 3200 children living under the similar climatogeographic and social conditions (Group 2). In Group 1 children circulatory diseases, lymphadenopathies, connective and bone tissue dysplasias come first in the structure of morbidity.
