Results of a study on microstructural evolution of eutectic Sn-57 wt.% Bi processed with cooling rates of 10, 1 K s and approximately 10 K s are presented. In order to distinguish different mechanisms of microstructure formation, a comparison with microstructures of different hypoeutectic alloys with compositions down to below the maximum solubility of Bi in Sn-Bi is undertaken.

Methods of isolation and purification of enzyme were selected which included: ammonium sulfate precipitation and affinity sorption on starch, that improved enzyme activity in 7 times in comparison with activity in the supernatant of cultural liquid.

View Article and Find Full Text PDFAs the result of electron microscope investigation of ultra-thin sections of the tissues infected by tomato spotted wilt virus it was shown that ultrastructural changes in the cells depend on the virus virulence. The isolate with low virulence induces mostly virus-specific changes (virus particles and virus inclusion bodies); the isolate with high virulence besides the virus-specific changes causes essential non-specific violation of cell organelle structure that could be the consequence of pathological action of the virus. It was determined that severe virus infection results in the decrease of general content of the proteins in the leaves.
