Special techniques for deep purification of ZnO and WO have been developed in this work. A ZnWO single crystal has been grown by the Czochralski method using purified ZnO and WO chemicals, along with the ZnWO crystal-etalon, which has been grown at the same conditions using commercially available 5N ZnO and WO chemicals. The actual accidental impurities compositions of both the initial chemicals and the grown crystals have been measured by inductively coupled plasma mass-spectrometry.

During 8-hour acclimation to changes in the water temperature by 10 degrees within the range of 20-30 degrees C the metabolic compensation of the temperature effects in the carp liver mitochondria is manifested at the level of thermogenesis, activity of succinate dehydrogenase and rate of oxidative phosphorylation. No temperature compensation is found for the activity of cytochromoxidase, ATPase, rate of nonphosphorylating oxidation, content of ATP, phosphorus and calcium in the mentioned organelles.

The content of adenine nucleotides, ATPase activity, the amount of total and inorganic phosphorus in the carp liver mitochondria were studied as affected by CO2 high concentrations. It is shown that during adaptation to the CO2 higher level in the medium the amount of ATP in fishes undergoes the most significant changes. The organism response to the effect of carbon dioxide depends on its concentration in the medium and time of its action.

The content of free amino acids, activity of aspartate and alanine transaminase, number of sulphydryl groups in fish tissues were studied as affected by lethal amounts (3.2 g/l) of blue-green algae. Blue-green algae have a certain affect on fishes not only by excreting biologically active substances in the process of vital activity and decay but also changing the gas regime of the medium (the oxygen content lowers, the amount of carbon dioxide increases).
