[Closing of nasal septum perforation using adipose stromal vascular fraction: an experimental study].

Unlabelled: Nasal septal perforation (NSP) is a complex problem in otorhinolaryngology, which leads to impaired nasal breathing and dryness in the nose. This reduces the patient's quality of life and leads to psychological discomfort. The treatment of nasal septum perforation is selected taking into account the clinical manifestations, perforation parameters and general condition of the patient.

Vocal fold restoration after scarring: biocompatibility and efficacy of an MSC-based bioequivalent.

Background: There is growing interest to application of regenerative medicine approaches in otorhinolaryngological practice, especially in the framework of the therapy of vocal fold (VF) scar lesions. The used conservative and surgical methods, despite the achieved positive outcomes, are frequently unpredictable and do not result in the restoration of the VF's lamina propria's structure, which provides the mechanical properties necessary for vibration. In this connection, the aim of this study was to ascertain the safety and efficacy of a bioequivalent in the treatment of VF scars using a rabbit model of chronic damage.

[Proliferative activity and cell differentiation during the period of intensive growth of the iris, ciliary body and pupillary sphincter in rats].

A study of the development of eye retina in sturgeons (Acipenser güldenstädti and A. stellatus) by means of autoradiography has shown that during embryogenesis the cells of the high light sensitivity region complete the cycle of proliferation prior to the stage 29, what corresponds to the completion of proliferation of the retina cells in anurans and mammals, rather than at the stage 33, as was considered previously on the basis of the light microscopy morphological studies of differentiation. The cells of definitive retina begin to complete the cycle of proliferation at the stage 35 and the mass completion occurs at the stage 37.
