Objective: In this cohort of individuals with and without multiple sclerosis (MS), we illustrate some of the novel approaches that smartphones provide to monitor patients with chronic neurologic disorders in their natural setting.

Methods: Thirty-eight participant pairs (MS and cohabitant) aged 18-55 years participated in the study. Each participant received an Android HTC Sensation 4G smartphone containing a custom application suite of 19 tests capturing participant performance and patient-reported outcomes (PROs).

The trial of efficacy of physical factors in combined treatment of BPH stage I patients with concomitant abacterial chronic prostatitis (category IIIA) enrolled 42 patients who were divided into two groups. Group 1 received combined treatment including complex physical factors (CAP-ELM-01). The efficacy of the treatment was judged by dynamics of clinical and device indices and severity of leading CP syndromes.

We studied the influence of pressure and rate of irrigative liquid flow on hydrodynamics of the upper urinary tracts in contact pneumatic lithotripsy (Litoclast lithotriptor) in 68 patients with ureteroliths and nephrostomic drainage. To a nephrostome the device was attached on which the linear change of pressure inside the pelvis was measured at the moment of visualization of the stone, its destruction and final ureteroscopy. 45 patients had nephrostome with a pelvis curl.

The purpose of research consist in an estimation of efficiency of treatment of patients with CP by using normabaric hypoxitherapy (NHT). The basic group (32 patients) received standard treatment and NHT. Control group (20 patients) received only standard treatment.

The aim of the study was to characterize mental changes in chronic prostatitis (CP) patients after the addition of a combination of local and central reflex physiotherapeutic factors to combined treatment 149 patients with infectious and noninfectious CP entered the study. The study group (n = 94) received combined treatment including physiotherapeutic factors (ANDRO-GIN unit). The control group (n = 55) received standard CP therapy.
