Parameters of the infectious activity of B.mallei and B.pseudomallei for animals of various species were determined.

[The efficacy of antibacterial preparations against Pseudomonas mallei in in-vitro and in-vivo experiments].

In vitro antibacterial activity of 43 antibiotics and chemotherapeutics against P. mallei Ts-5 was studied. The causative agent of malleus was highly susceptible to sulfanilamides, fluoroquinolones, tetracyclines, aminoglycosides, ceftazidime and imipenem.
