The aim of this study was to investigate the cytotoxic activity of the () ethanolic extract (CSEE) in neuroblastoma cells, chemically characterize the compounds present in the CSEE, and predict the molecular interactions and properties of ADME. Thus, after obtaining the CSEE and performing its chemical characterization through dereplication methods using UPLC/DAD-ESI/HRMS/MS, PM6 methods and the SwissADME drug design platform were used in order to predict molecular interactions and ADME properties. The CSEE was tested for 24 h in neuroblastoma cells to the establishment of the IC50 dose.

High Prevalence of Body Dysmorphic Disorder and Moderate to Severe Appearance-Related Obsessive-Compulsive Symptoms Among Rhinoplasty Candidates.

Background: Rhinoplasty is one of the most sought-after procedures in plastic surgery by individuals with body dysmorphic disorder (BDD). The identification of BDD symptoms is a challenge for plastic surgeons. The purpose of this study was to use a specific instrument for detection of BDD symptoms as a screening tool in rhinoplasty candidates and estimate the prevalence and severity of BDD symptoms in this population.

A six-year experience with anal cytology in women with HPV in the lower genital tract: utility, limitations, and clinical correlation.

This study assessed the utility and limitations of anal cytology as a screening method for women infected with human papilloma virus (HPV) in the lower genital tract. Furthermore, this study aimed to establish risk factors for pathological anal cytology/biopsy findings, the prevalence of anatomopathological lesions associated with positive anal brushings, and the frequency of concomitant lesions of the lower genital tract. A cross-sectional, retrospective, descriptive study in 207 women with HPV-associated lesions of the lower genital tract and 25 women with immunosuppression was carried out.

Postoperative sexual concerns and functioning in patients who underwent lysis of vulvovaginal adhesions.

Objective: This study aimed to determine satisfaction and functioning before and after surgery among women with lichen planus, who have undergone lysis of vulvovaginal adhesions, and to compare their sexual functioning with those of women without this disorder.

Materials And Methods: The study was approved by the University of Michigan Internal Review Board. A retrospective self-administered survey was completed by 22 women (50-76 years).

Anal intraepithelial lesions in women with human papillomavirus-related disease.

Objective: This study aimed to determine the prevalence of anal intraepithelial lesions in women with histologic diagnosis of intraepithelial lesions of the lower genital tract.

Materials And Methods: This was a cross-sectional study conducted at the Lower Genital Tract and Colposcopy Unit of Hospital de Clínicas "José de San Martín," University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. A total of 481 women with histologically confirmed low-grade and high-grade cervical, vaginal, or vulvar intraepithelial lesions were evaluated between 2005 and 2011.
