[The results of phase III multicenter open randomized controlled study REM-Chol-III-16 in patients with intrahepatic cholestasis syndrome caused by chronic diffuse liver diseases].

Aim: To assess the safety and efficacy of Remaxol, solution for infusion, compared with parenteral form of S-adenosyl-L-methionine, in the treatment of patients with intrahepatic cholestasis syndrome accompanying chronic diffuse liver diseases of various etiology.

Materials And Methods: In a multicenter open-label comparative study of the safety and efficacy of Remaxol (inosine + meglumine + methionine + nicotinamide + succinic acid) 317 patients aged 18 to 65 years were randomized into 2 groups: patients of the experimental group (n=168) received intravenous Remaxol, solution for infusion, 400 ml, and patients of the control group (n=149) Heptral (S-adenosyl-L-methionine) 800 mg. The duration of treatment was 10 days.

BCNNM: A Framework for Neural Tissue Development Modeling.

Cerebral ("brain") organoids are high-fidelity cellular models of the developing brain, which makes them one of the go-to methods to study isolated processes of tissue organization and its electrophysiological properties, allowing to collect invaluable data for modeling neurodevelopmental processes. Complex computer models of biological systems supplement and experimentation and allow researchers to look at things that no laboratory study has access to, due to either technological or ethical limitations. Aim: To investigate the impact of therapy with the infusion hepatoprotector remaxol on liver function in cirrhosis in the outcome of chronic viral hepatitides (CVH): HCV, HBV, HCV+HBV, and HBV+HDV.

Subjects And Methods: Sixty-five patients aged 26 to 76 years, who had been diagnosed as having liver cirrhosis (LC) in the outcome of CVH: HCV, HBV, HCV+HBV, and HBV+HDV were examined. During infusion therapy, every day 32 cirrhotic patients in the outcome of CVH B or C received intravenous remaxol 400 ml in a jetwise manner once daily for 11 days.
