Background: Initial results were recently reported for the AVEIR DR i2i study which involved the percutaneous implantation of a novel dual-chamber leadless pacemaker (LP) system, with right atrial (RA) and ventricular (RV) LPs delivering atrioventricular synchronous pacing.
Objective: Evaluate procedural outcomes and learning curve for de novo implantation of the dual-chamber LP (AVEIR DR™, Abbott).
Methods: Implant procedure metrics collected during the study were analyzed, including procedural complications within 30 days post-implant.
Enamoviruses and poleroviruses (family Solemoviridae) are plant-infecting icosahedral viruses that have a single-stranded RNA genome. In the present study, we examined plant transcriptome data available in the Sequence Read Archive (SRA) database and identified sequences of 22 putative novel enamo-/enamo-like and poleroviruses. The 13 putative novel enamoviruses that were identified were found in diverse plant species, including gymnospermic hosts, expanding the known genetic diversity of enamoviruses by 0.

The NCCN Guidelines for Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS) provide recommendations for the evaluation, diagnosis, and comprehensive care of patients with MDS based on a review of recent clinical evidence that has led to important advances in treatment or has yielded new information on biologic factors that may have prognostic significance in MDS. The multidisciplinary panel of MDS experts is convened at least on an annual basis. During the annual meeting, the panel evaluates new and emerging data to inform their recommendations.

Due to the relatively short time and faster pace of completion of development, minor absent/persistent segments may give rise to either asymptomatic anatomical variants or hemodynamically significant changes. Intracranial vessels - both anterior carotid and posterior vertebrobasilar systems - are known to have many common anatomical variations like hypoplastic segments (A1 or P1 segments of anterior or posterior cerebral arteries) and persistent carotid-vertebrobasilar anastomotic channels.

An emerging literature indicates increased impulsivity in patients with a history of traumatic brain injury (TBI). In a recent study, Veterans with clinically-assessed history of mild TBI had increased cognitive, but not motor, impulsivity.
