The presented paper deals with the issue of selecting a suitable system for monitoring the winter wheat crop in order to determine its condition as a basis for variable applications of nitrogen fertilizers. In a four-year (2017-2020) field experiment, 1400 ha of winter wheat crop were monitored using the ISARIA on-the-go system and remote sensing using Sentinel-2 multispectral satellite images. The results of spectral measurements of ISARIA vegetation indices (IRMI, IBI) were statistically compared with the values of selected vegetation indices obtained from Sentinel-2 (EVI, GNDVI, NDMI, NDRE, NDVI and NRERI) in order to determine potential hips.

This work is focused on the use of a CZT detector for a radiation mapping with an industrial robotic arm. Measurements were carried out within the RadioRoSo experiment (Radioactive Waste Robotic Sorter), under the umbrella of EU FP7 project ECHORD++. In tests with a dual-arm robot and standard point sources of Cs and Co, a Magnox waste was mimicked.

The aim of this prospective study was to compare the outcome of orthodontic therapy using two different therapeutic strategies: the labial straightwire (SW) technique and the lingual two-dimensional (2D) technique on the lower dental arch. The sample included 50 subjects (39 females and 11 males) with a complete dentition and an Angle Class I malocclusion with crowding who were treated non-extraction. The subjects were divided into two groups: group A, consisted of 25 patients (19 females and 6 males), who were treated with the lingual 2D technique, and group B, 25 patients (20 females and 5 males) treated using the labial SW appliance (Roth system).

Objectives: The diagnostic procedure commences with the initial examination, during which a number of individual findings of the occlusion or malocclusion are clarified [1]. The objective is to describe the morphological and functional characteristics on each patient using specific guidelines, and then to provide a prognosis of the therapy. Upper and lower arch compression in first premolars and molars area was visible before treatment.

The fast-neutron and photon space-energy distributions have been measured in an axially (1.25 m active height) and azimuthally (60 degree symmetry sector) shortened model of the WWER-1000 reactor assembled in the LR-0 experimental reactor. The space-energy distributions have been calculated with the stochastic code MCNP and the deterministic three-dimensional code TORT.
