Article Synopsis
  • Novel flake-like NiSnO particles were created using a hydrothermal method and characterized to reveal their nanoflake structure and mixed-phase characteristics.
  • Characterization techniques like FTIR and EDS confirmed the chemical composition, showing that Ni doping affects SnO's lattice structure.
  • The 5% Ni-doped SnO demonstrated impressive electrochemical performance, achieving a specific capacitance of 841.85 F/g, with a redox additive boosting it to 2130.33 F/g, indicating potential for high-performance supercapacitor applications.

New cobalt(II), copper(II), and zinc(II) Schiff metal complexes were synthesized by the condensation reaction of 4-nitrobenzene-1,2-diamine with 3-4-(diethylamino)-2-hydroxybenzaldehyde. Fourier transform infrared, nuclear magnetic resonance, ultraviolet-visible, electron paramagnetic resonance, and high-resolution electrospray ionization mass spectrometry and powder X-ray diffraction were used to characterize the synthesized HL and its metal complexes. Conductance measurements, magnetic moment estimation, and metal estimation have all been determined and discussed.

The research article investigates the effect of incorporating the guanidinium carbonate (GuC) salt into the poly vinylpyrrolidone (PVP) and polyethylene oxide (PEO) polymer matrix. Various weight percentages of GuC enriched PVP/PEO solid polymer electrolytes (SPEs) have been prepared by the simplest solution casting process. XRD analysis revealed that the incorporation of the GuC salt led to changes in the crystalline structure of the PVP/PEO.
