Objective: To identify the percentage of patients with incident lupus nephritis who achieved primary efficacy renal response (PERR) and complete renal response (CRR) after 2 years of treatment at a university hospital.
Methods: An observational study including patients with lupus with a first renal biopsy with nephritis class III, IV, or V, or combined, performed between years 2000 and 2018 and follow-up for over 2 years at a university hospital in Argentina. The proportion of patients with PERR and CRR at 1 and 2 years and the proportion of patients requiring rescue therapy were calculated.
Aim: To investigate the prevalence and clinical manifestations of reading, writing, and mathematics disorders in children with cerebral palsy (CP). We explored how the clinical profile of these children differed from those with specific learning disorders (SLDs), taking into account several factors, particularly IQ scores, neuropsychological aspects, and the presence of a visual impairment.
Method: A prospective cross-sectional study was conducted in 42 children with CP (mean age 9 years 8 months; SD = 2 years 2 months) and 60 children with SLDs (mean age 10 years; SD = 1 year 7 months).
Unlabelled: Oculocutaneous albinism (OCA) is a group of rare, genetic disorders caused by absent/reduced melanin biosynthesis. The aim of this study was to explore the neurovisual, cognitive, adaptive, and behavioral profile of children affected by OCA, also evaluating any possible effect of the visual acuity deficit on the clinical profile and genotype-phenotype correlations. Eighteen children (9 males, mean age 84 months ± 41; range 18-181 months) with a molecular confirmed diagnosis of OCA were enrolled in the study.

Methods: Observational retrospective study. We included patients with biopsy-proven ANCA glomerulonephritis (GN) diagnosed between 2001 and 2016, with at least 1-year follow-up.
Objective: To estimate incidence and prevalence of polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR) and giant cell arteritis (GCA) in a university hospital-based health management organization (Hospital Italiano Medical Care Program) in Argentina.
Methods: Overall and sex-specific incidence rates (IRs) and prevalence were calculated (age ≥ 50 yrs). Incidence study followed members with continuous affiliation ≥ 1 year from January 2000 to December 2015.
