Diabetes mellitus remains a global challenge, with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) prevalence increasing from 4% to 6.4% in the past 30 years. Presently oral hypoglycaemic agents like GLP-1 agonists, biguanides, sulphonylureas, glinides, and thiazolidinediones are employed in clinical practice.

Concurrently in these areas, smaller-bodied species benefit from factors such as competitive release and increase in numbers. This transformation of the wildlife community can impact species interactions and ecosystem services such as seed dispersal and seed-mediated geneflow with far-reaching consequences.

Due to the resistance and toxicity of existing drug molecules in the light of pandemic infections, like COVID-19, there is an urgent need to find newer derivatives of active molecules, which can be effective in fungal infections.
Objective: In the present study, we aimed to design pyrazole derivatives using molecular modeling studies against target 1EA1 and synthesize 10 molecules of pyrazole derivatives using a multi-step synthesis approach.
Cumulenes and heterocumulenes with three or more cumulative multiple bonds are usually reactive species that serve as valuable building blocks for more complex molecules but tend to isomerize or cyclize and therefore are difficult to isolate. Using a mild ligand exchange reaction at the carbon in α-metalated ylides, we have now succeeded in the synthesis and gram-scale isolation of the elusive cyanoketenyl anion [NCO]. Despite its assumed cumulene-like structure and the delocalization of the negative charge across the whole 5-atom molecule, it features a bent geometry with a nucleophilic central carbon atom.

Introduction: Rhinoplasty was one of the most frequently performed aesthetic surgeries in the USA in 2022. Traditionally, the open approach has been preferred by the majority of surgeons often due to familiarity and ease of visualization. However, patient interest in closed and preservation rhinoplasty is driving a resurgence in the popularity of endonasal techniques.
