[Psychiatric aspect of patient rehabilitation in the late stages of chronic kidney failure using surgical treatment methods (hemodialysis and kidney transplant)].

A complex examination of 270 patients with chronic renal insufficiency at late stages treated by hemodialysis was carried out. In 70 of them the operation of kidney transplantation had been performed. As a result of the examination data on objective possibilities of social and occupation re-adaptation of such patients were obtained.

[Correlation of immunologic and pathomorphologic shifts in mother and fetus following experimental neurosensitization].

The authors studied mother-rats and their fetuses during the 3 main stages of pregnancy in a sensitation of the rats to homologous brain antigens. Such studies were performed by means of immunological, visual, neurohistological and cytochemical methods. Dystrophical changes were found in the brain of mother-rats and the foetus, while as inflammatory reactions and immunocompetent cells were not seen.

[Encephalopathic syndrome in chronic non-specific lung diseases].

On the basis of a clinical, laboratory (blood gas content, function of external respiration, EEG, ECG eye ground, etc.) and pathomorphological studies the authors describe a syndrome of chronic lung encephalopathy in 34 patients with chronic nonspecific lung diseases (chronic pneumonia, chronic bronchitis). The report contains data on the development of chronic encephalopathy depending upon the severity of the basic disease.

[Features of episodes of mental disorders in chronic renal insufficiency (clinico-morphologic study)].

The authors studied the traits of psychotic attacks in 40 patients with terminal stages of chronic renal insufficiency. They were expressed in atypical delirious, delirio-amentive and amentive conditions. 8 cases were studied morphologically.
