[The Organization of Medicine Principles Education in Theological Seminaries].

The article, on the basis of discovered archive documents, a historical reconstruction of organization of system of education of basics of medicine in theological seminaries in Russia in 1837-1866. The initiators of making and organizers of this system are named. The main results of its functioning are analyzed.

[The Population Provision with Physicians in the Russian Empire in XIX--Early XX Centuries].

The article presents data concerning number of physicians and their supply to population of the Russian Empire in 1809-1913. It is reasonable to affirm that health care system of the Russian Empire during this period had no opportunities to efficiently implement function of health care.

[The first attempt of introducing of teaching of medical disciplines in religious academies and seminaries].

The article is devoted to the first attempt of introduction of teaching of medical disciplines in religious academies and seminaries. The cause of appearance of "medicine class» in religious schools served miserable condition of peasants related to factually total impossibility to receive medical care. The Russian orthodox church acted as an initiator of introduction of teaching of medicine in religious schools.
