In Russia, antiretroviral therapy (ART) coverage has significantly increased, which, in the absence of routine genotyping testing, could lead to an increase in HIV drug resistance (DR). The aim of this study was to investigate the patterns and temporal trends in HIV DR as well as the prevalence of genetic variants in treatment-naïve patients from 2006 to 2022, using data from the Russian database (4481 protease and reverse transcriptase and 844 integrase gene sequences). HIV genetic variants, and DR and DR mutations (DRMs) were determined using the Stanford Database.

Algorithmic automatic item generation can be used to obtain large quantities of cognitive items in the domains of knowledge and aptitude testing. However, conventional item models used by template-based automatic item generation techniques are not ideal for the creation of items for non-cognitive constructs. Progress in this area has been made recently by employing long short-term memory recurrent neural networks to produce word sequences that syntactically resemble items typically found in personality questionnaires.

Here, we present a new lux-biosensor based on for detecting of DNA-tropic and oxidative stress-causing agents. Hybrid plasmids pNK-DinC, pNK-AlkA, and pNK-MrgA have been constructed, in which the reporter genes are transcribed from the stress-inducible promoters of : the SOS promoter P, the methylation-specific response promoter P, and the oxidative stress promoter P. The luminescence of based biosensors specifically increases in response to the appearance in the environment of such common toxicants as mitomycin C, methyl methanesulfonate, and HO.

The molecular structure of 4-nitropyridine N-oxide, 4-NO-PyO, has been determined by gas-phase electron diffraction monitored by mass spectrometry (GED/MS) and by quantum chemical calculations (DFT and MP2). Comparison of these results with those for non-substituted pyridine N-oxide and 4-methylpyridine N-oxide CH-PyO, demonstrate strong substitution effects on structural parameters and electron density distribution. The presence of the electron-withdrawing -NO group in -position of 4-NO-PyO results in an increase of the ipso-angle and a decrease of the semipolar bond length (N→O) in comparison to the non-substituted PyO.
