Purpose: Ultrahypofractionation presents challenges for a subset of high-risk prostate cancer patients due to the large planning target volume (PTV) margin required for the seminal vesicles. Online adaptive radiation therapy could potentially reduce this margin. This paper focuses on the development, preclinical validation, and clinical testing of online adaptive robotic stereotactic body radiation therapy for this patient group.

Background: Major trauma has a significant effect on Health-Related Quality of Life (HR-QoL). It is unclear, however, which factors most affect HR-QoL. This study aims to evaluate HR-QoL after severe injury in Finland and determine how different injury patterns and patient-related factors, such as level of education and socioeconomic group, are associated with HR-QoL.

Prognostic Value of Follow-up Measures of Left Ventricular Global Longitudinal Strain in Patients With ST-Segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction.

Introduction: After ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), follow-up imaging is currently recommended only in patients with left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) <40%. Left ventricular global longitudinal strain (LVGLS) was shown to improve risk stratification over LVEF in these patients but has not been thoroughly studied during follow-up. The aim of this study was to explore the changes in LVGLS after STEMI and their potential prognostic value.
