Barcodes as Optical Marks for an Objective Assessment of Laparoscopic Skills in a Box Trainer.

The sensor-equipped box trainers can objectively evaluate psychomotor skills similar to virtual simulators. However, such box models are least of all involved in curricula in minimally invasive surgery, probably because of their complexity or high cost. This discrepancy prompted us to find a simple solution that provides an objective assessment of laparoscopic skills on any box trainer.

[Analysis of non-specific immunity status in children using basic statistic].

Using the basic statistics methods the state of neutrophyls phagocytic activity of children living in the contaminated territory was fulfilled. Some changes of nonspecific immunity surveyed: increased number of sensibilizated cells and decrease the content of the latex particles. This facts show the persistent nonspecific changes in the cellular immune status of the surveyed.

[The effect of isonitrozine on gas homeostasis].

The action of the cholinesterase reactivator isonitrosine on gas homeostasis was studied in experiments on intact dogs. It has been found that oxygen consumption and CO2 release by tissues were enhanced within the period from 15 min to 6 days following isonitrosine administration. Simultaneously, oxygen return by the blood was improved.

[Role of reflexotherapy in the complex treatment of neuroendocrine obesity].

The paper is concerned with comparative estimation of the effect of different therapeutic methods (hypocaloric diet, physiotherapeutic, drug and exercise therapy, reflexotherapy) on loss of body mass. The experience of reflexotherapy of 86 patients showed its positive effect on the psychoemotional activities of patients with obesity, a rise of adaptation capabilities of the body under physical exercise, improved external respiration function, an increase in oxygen saturation of tissues, the stimulation of metabolism (by the basal metabolism findings) by way of increasing the secretion of hypophyseal tropic hormones, triiodothyronine and thyroxin, and potentiation of the time course of loss of body mass.
