Introduction Sexually transmitted infections (STIs), which contribute to a significant amount of mortality and morbidity in the reproductive life of adults, are infections that can be prevented by healthy sexual behavior and education about the same. This study aims to assess the knowledge and attitude toward STIs and contraceptive use among patients attending the Venereology Outpatient Department (OPD). Methods A hospital-based cross-sectional study was conducted among patients more than 18 years of age attending the Venereology OPD, Government Medical College and Hospital, Thiruvallur, India, from March to May 2024.

We report the in situ synthesis of silver-containing polyisocyanurate (Ag-PI) gels via the self-polymerization of isocyanate-containing organic molecules (Desmodur N75) catalyzed by silver nitrate (AgNO) in ,'-dimethylformamide, which acts as both the solvent and reducing agent. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction confirmed the formation of polyisocyanurate and metallic silver nanoparticles. Gelation occurred in 30 min at 30 °C for Ag-PI, compared to 24 h for the uncatalyzed system, demonstrating AgNO's catalytic role.

The image retrieval is the process of retrieving the relevant images to the query image with minimal searching time in internet. The problem of the conventional Content-Based Image Retrieval (CBIR) system is that they produce retrieval results for either colour images or grey scale images alone. Moreover, the CBIR system is more complex which consumes more time period for producing the significant retrieval results.

The present study aims to analyze the thermal regulation of the Ce/Ce ratio on the nanonetwork titania layer over the titanium (Ti) surface developed by the alkali-mediated surface modification approach. The effect of sequential heat treatment from 200 to 800 °C was evaluated for its surface characteristics such as morphology, phase formation, roughness, hardness, hydrophilicity, etc. Surface oxidation by temperatures up to 600 °C demonstrated a progressive increase in the Ce (CeO) content with a rutile TiO network layer over the Ti surface.

This scoping review aimed to map the various facets of intuition in occupational therapy (OT), from its definitions, theoretical frameworks, epistemological paradigms to practical applications, highlighting its role in decision-making. Following the Joanna Briggs Institute methodology, a systematic search of five databases from 1990 to August 2023 identified 337 records related to OT and intuition. After removing duplicates and applying eligibility criteria, 22 studies were included.
