Possibilities of inocardiography for defining systolic left ventricular function when screening of military personnel. Possibilities of definition of myocardial contractile function with the help of the detection method offremitus of vertical lift component, caused by in-space heart movement in patient siting on a dynamometric platform, were researched in 230 patients. As a control method for defining the heart pump function was used the echocardiographic modified biplane Simpson method.

Provided an overview of materials on the history of the formation method ballistocardiography for diagnosis of cardiovascular disease, an assessment of its current status and prospects for further development. Investigation of the physiological changes in the myocardium by recording ballistocardiogram acquires greater relevance since the existing knowledge in the field of cardiac diagnosis were obtained using instruments that do not meet modern requirements. Although the results of previous studies and define the basic characteristics ballistocardiography nonetheless update and clarification of details in relation to the data obtained by the use of modern methods of measuring contractility of the myocardium, it is useful.

The paper considers modern conceptions about the prognostic value of left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH) different types. The role of interaction of demographic, hemodynamic, regulatory, intracardiac factors in the formation of prognostic peculiarities in patients with different types of LVH is marked. The data of own investigations indicating that the left ventricular myocardial mass has not less important value in long-term general prognostication than belonging to a concentric or eccentric LVH type in elderly patients with hypertension are presented.

For investigation of character and frequency of detection of violations of rhythm and conductivity there was effectuated monitoring of ECG using Holter monitor. In investigation were included 238 military servicemen of young age (23-35 years old), situated in similar conditions of life, chosen according to practical health. Normative indexes of daily variation of arrhythmia were determined using method of non-parametric analyze of qualitative data.

A total of 1063 results of Holter monitoring in patients with cardiovascular diseases were analyzed. There were regularities in the circadian rhythm of arrhythmias with their decreased values at night and increased ones in the daytime, and peak in the morning. The profile of rhythm depends on the pattern of arrhythmia and cardiac disease.
