We present a major update of MirGeneDB (3.0), the manually curated animal microRNA gene database. Beyond moving to a new server and the creation of a computational mirror, we have expanded the database with the addition of 33 invertebrate species, including representatives of 5 previously unsampled phyla, and 6 mammal species.

The changes occurring in tissues and the organism are of practical interest for studying the biocompatibility of the material and searching for systemic markers in the blood that reflect inflammation in peri-implantation tissues. The highly sensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) measurements in blood and morphometric studies of tissue surrounding the implant were carried out in the experiment within three months of implantation of a biopolymer consisting of polycaprolactone (PCL) and polytrimethylene carbonate (PTMC).

Here, we investigated whether protein fluctuations computed from molecular dynamics simulations can be used to predict the expression levels of SARS-CoV-2 receptor binding domain (RBD) mutants determined in the deep mutational scanning experiment of Starr et al. [Science (New York, N.

Commensurate with the developments in experimental research and advances in computer hardware, the range of methods and applicability of CHARMM have also grown. This review summarizes major developments that occurred after 2009 when the last review of CHARMM was published.

Unlabelled: Preserving the function of the facial nerve is extremely important in surgery for vestibular schwannomas. Two methods of arachnoid dissection are described for resection of vestibular schwannoma via retrosigmoid approach (from the brain stem and internal auditory canal).
Objective: To evaluate the results of arachnoid dissection of the facial nerve from internal auditory canal when resecting the vestibular schwannoma.
