A group of 707 children aged 1 to 24 months from the territory of Vojvodina (10 rural and urban settlements) was examined regarding additional food (nonmilk and milk food), time of introduction, infant's age and frequency of consumption. It has been concluded that supplementary feeding, including all food, starts early. Fruit and vegetable are introduced at the age of 34 months.
