[Characteristics of surgical methods during removal of large myxomas from the right and left heart atria].

The article describes surgical tactics by means of which fragmentation of large myxomas of the right and left atria during operation can be avoided. In myxoma of the right atrium the authors suggest cannulating the venae cavae after wide atriotomy during total body hypothermia and then continuing the operation under conditions of extracorporeal circulation.
