Patients' expectations are an important determinant in their decision to undergo lumbar spinal surgery-particularly their expectations of recovery after surgery. The Hospital for Special Surgery Lumbar Spine Surgery Expectations Survey (HSS-LSSES) is one tool used to assess this; however, the original version was only available in English. We sought to evaluate the reliability and validity of a translated and adapted Russian-language version of the HSS-LSSES.

We directly probe the oxygen vacancy defects in both plane and chain sites after irradiation with 18-meV Au ions. The plane site vacancies are reoccupied during post-annealing treatment.

As a result of intravenous injection in the jugular vein of a suspension of thrombin (exogenous thrombinemia) all clothingsee tests lengthened in the control animals (p<0.

The substrate surface has to be conditioned in order to minimize the energy threshold for the formation of the desired phase or to enhance the catalytic activity of the substrate. The mechanism of the substrate activity, especially of technologically relevant oxide surfaces, is poorly understood.

Inoculation of Wistar rat bone marrow mesenchymal cells selected by adhesion activity did not reduce tissue calcinosis. The results indicate good prospects of repopulation of devitalized heart valve and vessel transplants by recipient vascular cells for reducing transplant calcinosis and improvement of their biocompatibility.
