Background: Poly (ADP-ribose) inhibitors, including olaparib, upregulate programmed cell death ligand 1 (PD-L1), which may increase efficacy of anti-PD-(L)1 therapies.
Methods: In the phase 3 KEYLYNK-006 trial (NCT03976323), eligible adults with previously untreated metastatic nonsquamous NSCLC without targetable genetic alterations who had complete response (CR), partial response (PR), or stable disease (SD) following induction therapy with 4 cycles of pembrolizumab 200 mg Q3W, pemetrexed 500 mg/m , and carboplatin AUC5 or cisplatin 75 mg/m were randomized 1:1 to olaparib 300 mg orally twice daily or pemetrexed Q3W, both given with ≤31 cycles of pembrolizumab Q3W. Dual primary endpoints were progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS).
Introduction: Poly (adenosine diphosphate-ribose) polymerase inhibitors can up-regulate programmed cell death-ligand 1 expression and promote immune-mediated responses and may improve efficacy of first-line anti‒programmed cell death protein 1‒based therapies in patients with metastatic squamous NSCLC.
Methods: In this randomized, double-blind, phase 3 trial (NCT03976362), adults with previously untreated stage IV squamous NSCLC received four cycles of induction therapy (pembrolizumab 200 mg every 3 weeks plus carboplatin and paclitaxel or nab-paclitaxel). Patients with disease control were randomized to 31 cycles of pembrolizumab 200 mg every 3 weeks plus olaparib 300 mg orally twice daily or placebo.
Aim To evaluate quality of treatment of patients with stable ischemic heart disease (IHD) prior to an elective percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).Material and methods The study included 250 patients with stable IHD admitted for an elective PCI. Blood pressure, heart rate, total cholesterol, and blood glucose were measured for patients upon admission.

The essence of the organization of social and pedagogical work with children with psychological immaturity in the system of training of future social educators is revealed and its outcome is determined. The structural components of the criteria, indicators of the psychological condition of children with developmental delay were revealed. It is revealed that an adequate educational process is important, its functions should be as a correction of already existing disadvantages of psychological development, as well as preventing the formation of new ones in the conditions of this institution; the formation of a comfortable and appropriate psychological needs of the child environment around it; formation of attitude towards life in general: adequate motivation, models of communication with others.

The oxidative sites were identified to belong to all structural elements of the catalytic subunit: the β-sandwich (Tyr104, Tyr117, and Cys153), the catalytic core domain (Met160, Trp165, Met266, Cys328, Asp352, Pro387, Arg409, Cys410, Tyr442, Met475, Met476, Tyr482, and Met500), the β-barrel 1 (Met596), and the β-barrel 2 (Met647, Pro676, Trp692, Cys696, and Met710), which correspond to 3.9%, 1.
