[Variations of treatment of chronic alcohol diffusion liver disease].

Effectiveness has been shown of applying the hepatoprotector antral in the treatment of patients with chronic alcohol hepatitis and hepatocirrohsis. The investigation has revealed a good disintoxicative effect of antral, normalisation of biochemical indices of the liver functions, cellular and humoral elements of immunity, significant improvement of indices for the process of peroxidation of lipids and antioxidant defence.

[The prevalence, risk factors and secondary prevention of digestive tract diseases in workers of the gas-producing industry].

The examination of the Ukrburgas corporation employees revealed gastrointestinal diseases in 107 of them (18.4%): ulcer in 28 and chronic gastroduodenitis in 79 subjects. The above disorders proved dependent on occupational, social and risk factors.

[The pharmacological correction of reflex stenocardia due to chronic noncalculous cholecystitis].

Results are reported of a study of the effect of benzohexonium electrophoresis on the epigastric area in cardiac syndrome due to chronic noncalculous cholecystitis in 72 patients. This treatment produced a favourable effect in reflex stenocardia as confirmed by data of clinical and paraclinical findings. The authors recommended to include benzohexonium electrophoresis in patients with the biliary cardiac syndrome in the complex treatment of patients with chronic cholecystitis.

[The prevalence and secondary prevention of ischemic heart disease and arterial hypertension in workers of the gas recovery industry].

Results are reported of the incidence of ischemic heart disease and arterial hypertension in workers of the gas producing industry. There was a direct correlative dependence on age, profession, character of work. Schemes are presented on the treatment with consideration of the course of the disease.
