The article reports about the development of the original implanted device, ensuring externally controlled dynamic correction of scoliosis. The construction has been utilized with 6 patients with scoliosis of the IV degree. In 5 cases after operation was achieved the spine distraction of 10-37 mm.

On the basis of 14 experiments with simulation of the lower cervical vertebra dislocations on cadavers and human cervical vertebra blocks, combined with stage discography, the authors singled out 3 groups of +disk and ligament structure damages: damage of capsular--ligamentous apparatus of the rear support complex; damage of ligamentous--capsular apparatus and disk; damage of ligamentous-capsular apparatus, frontal longitudinal ligament and total rupture of a disk. Differentiation is made according to the degree of dislocation of vertebra bodies and articular processes. The data are confirmed by the results of discography of 20 patients.
