Comparative study of quantitative anatomy of the epidermis in Syringa josikaea Jacq. leaf halves of different width was conducted in order to analyze the possible mechanism of formation of the value of fluctuating leaf asymmetry. A regular decrease in the density of main epidermal cells in the smaller leaf half compared with the bigger one was traced during leaf ontogeny.

Kagocel was shown to have a low cytotoxic effect on Vero cell and inhibited reproduction of Herpes virus type 1 and Herpes virus type 2 in noncytotoxic concentrations. Kagocel was also demonstrated to inhibit the reproduction of Herpes virus type 1, resistant to combination of Acyclovir and phosphonoacetic acid.

In rats, dalargin (30-1000 micrograms/kg, subcutaneously) accelerated the elimination of Evans blue from beneath the pancreatic capsule in a dose-related manner. The effect of dalargin was attenuated by naloxone.
