Evaluation of the Let's Focus! (Posem el Focus) Socioeducational Intervention: Promoting Healthy and Equitable Relationships in High Schools.

Introduction: Gender-based violence is a worldwide problem. School-based socio-educational interventions could be effective in preventing gender-based violence. We assessed the effectiveness of the Let's focus! program, aimed at health and equitable interpersonal relationships among high school students.

The double-edged sword of potassium and sodium fertilization in xylem embolism resistance of two Eucalyptus species under drought stress.

Sodium (Na+) is a beneficial element for most plants and may replace potassium (K+) in osmoregulatory process to a certain extent, increasing plant water use efficiency. Thus, understanding coordinated mechanisms underlying the combined use of K+ and Na+ in tree drought tolerance is a key challenge for forestry in dealing with productivity and water limitations. A pot experiment with three ratios of K/Na (K-supplied, partial K replacement by Na, and K-deficient plants) and two water regimes, well-watered (W+) and water-stressed (W-), was conducted on saplings of two Eucalyptus species with contrasting drought sensitivities.

Differential approach to stroke aphasia and primary progressive aphasia using transcranial magnetic stimulation: A systematic review.

Language disorders can occur as a consequence of stroke or neurodegenerative disorders, among other causes. Post‑stroke aphasia (PSA) and primary progressive aphasia (PPA) are syndromes that, despite having common features, differ in the brain mechanisms that cause their symptoms. These differences in the underlying functional neuroanatomical changes may influence the way they are addressed by different non‑invasive brain stimulation techniques and, in particular, by repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS).

[Sexism and intimate partner violence in adolescents].

Objective: Despite the efforts to reduce gender inequality, sexism persists. There are still few studies on this matter that consider variables such as sexual desire or migration background. The aim of this study is to analyse the social circumstances (individual and from the immediate context) associated with sexism as well as its relationship with intimate partner violence perpetration amongst adolescents.
