Tamil Insights: Enhancing Oral Health Education (OHE) Through Questionnaire Validation.

Aim: This study aims to validate an OHE questionnaire in Tamil to ensure linguistic and cultural accuracy for Tamil-speaking populations.

Methodology: The study involved English-Tamil fluent adults, using a 15-item OHE questionnaire translated through expert forward and backward translations. An expert panel ensured conceptual equivalence, and a pilot study with 30 participants refined the translation.

Background: Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) continues to be a significant cause of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs). In this study, we aimed to characterize the MRSA isolates obtained from HAIs.

Methods: A total of 200 clinical and 13 nasal MRSA isolates were collected and tested.

Comparison of 3Mixtatin and Mineral Trioxide Aggregate in Primary Teeth Pulpotomy: A Systematic Review.

The aim of this systematic review was to evaluate the clinical and radiographic success rates of primary teeth pulpotomy using 3Mixtatin compared to mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA). A comprehensive literature search identified relevant studies, which were screened for inclusion, with the risk of bias assessed using Cochrane collaboration tools. Data on success rates, follow-up periods, and methodological quality were extracted, and the protocol was registered in PROSPERO (ID: CRD42024562155).

Incidence, Prediction, and Prevention of Fractures After Kidney Transplantation: A Systematic Review Protocol.

Background: Kidney transplant recipients are uniquely exposed to the disordered bone metabolism associated with chronic kidney disease beginning before transplantation followed by chronic corticosteroid use after transplantation. Previous efforts to synthesize the rapidly accruing evidence regarding estimation and management of fracture risk in kidney transplant recipients are outdated and incomplete.

Objective: To synthesize the evidence informing the overall incidence, patient-specific risk prediction, and methods of prevention of fractures in patient living with a kidney transplant.

Changes in physico-chemical and functional properties of liquid egg white by ohmic heating process.

In the present study, ohmic heating system was developed for the pasteurization of liquid egg white. A batch reactor system was designed with a capacity of 100 ml and operated at varied gradients of voltage (20, 15, 10 V/cm), frequencies (10, 55, 100 Hz), holding times (1, 2.5, 4 min) at two different waveforms (sine and square).
