The paper examines prerequisites and assumptions of the classical Bass innovation diffusion model with the aim of applying it in modeling of relevant stochastic processes related to the pandemic. The Bass model has proven its versatility and applicability to various environments. A thorough mathematical substantiation of the model properties is presented based on theories of evolutionary equations and stochastic processes for its further development, as well as search for uncertainty parameters and observable variables.

Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) are an attractive alternative to plasmonic gold nanoparticles. The relative cheapness and redox stability determine the growing interest of researchers in obtaining selective plasmonic and electrochemical (bio)sensors based on silver nanoparticles. The controlled synthesis of metal nanoparticles of a defined morphology is a nontrivial task, important for such fields as biochemistry, catalysis, biosensors and microelectronics.

A multicyclophane with a core based on tris(2-aminoethyl)amine (TREN) linked by amide spacers to three fragments of pillar[5]arene was synthesized. The choice of the tris-amide core allowed the multicyclophane to bind to anion guests. The presence of three terminal pillar[5]arene units provides the possibility of effectively binding the colorimetric probe -phenyl-3-(phenylimino)-3H-phenothiazin-7-amine ().

Synthesis and application of nanostructured materials applicable in the assembly of electrochemical sensors is one of the important trends in material sciences and analytical chemistry. In this work, we have proposed and implemented simple non-template method for assembling nanofibers from the polyaniline ultrasonicated with phenyliminophenothiazine in aqueous media. Two-step procedure including association with emeraldine dispersion and reorganization under ultrasonication led to formation of nanofibrillar structures with average diameter of 20 nm.
