[The use of the microclimate of artificial sylvinite speleoclimatic chambers in treating patients with chronic obstructive bronchitis].

67 patients with purulent and 63 with catarrhal chronic obstructive bronchitis (COB) were subjected to clinico-laboratory, functional and bronchoscopic examinations. 41% of the patients had COB exacerbation, 59% were in partial remission. As shown by improvement in clinical, immunological and morphological indices, blood biochemistry, sputum microscopy, spirometry, bronchoscopy findings, artificial sylvinite speleotherapy is effective in acute and purulent COB.

[Interference currents in the treatment of patients with duodenal peptic ulcer].

93 patients with duodenal ulcer were exposed to interference currents (transcerebral and epigastric exposure). These currents were found clinically and functionally effective. The improvement was also found in the trophic processes in the gastroduodenal area.

The paper deals with the problem of adequacy of electromagnetic exposure of biological systems, indicates principal directions of optimization of physiotherapeutic actions including necessary hard and software, methodology of registration of the body response to these effects.
