The program of complex recovery therapy and medical rehabilitation (MR) for treating the patients with mild form of community-acquired pneumonia (CAP) is presented. 89 servicemen-recruits with CAP mild form treated during 2003-2005 in the Field Therapy Clinic of Saratov Military Medical Institute were investigated. MR was conducted on the basis of medical station (MS) and lasted for 15 days.

To determine the significance of results of dynamic study of C-reactive protein (C-RP) and ceruloplasmin (CP) concentrations in plasma for evaluation of adequacy of community-acquired pneumonia (CAP) launching antibacterial chemotherapy we investigated 97 patients (servicemen on draft). C-RP and CP were determined by immunoturbidimetric method. The blood samples were obtained on admission, on the 3rd-4th day of treatment and on the 7th-8th day of stay in the hospital.

Basic purpose of issue was the attempt of a rating of a role and place modern digital chest fluorography in complex diagnostics of lower respiratory diseases accompanied acute pulmonary infiltrates. We studied 232 adults who hospitalized with community-acquired pneumonia (CAP) to Saratov Military Medical School Hospital during 1999-2003. In integration of methods of research the role digital chest fluorography as way of primary diagnostics and conducting means of the analysis of technology of rendering of medical aid is emphasized.

The problem of visceral pathology in patients with trauma that was intensively investigated by the scientists during the period of Great Patriotic War and in post-war period remains actual in our days. The purpose of investigation is to study the possibilities, peculiarities and efficiency of diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and medical examination of the casualties suffering from visceral pathology in different periods after trauma in conditions of therapeutic hospital as well as the peculiarities of their regular medical checkup at the post-hospital stage. It will allow to use more widely the therapeutic beds for the complex medical support of this patient group.
