Assessment of Acoustic and Nasalance Improvement in Maxillary Obturator Patients Using PRAAT Software: An Study.

Aim: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the improvement in acoustic and nasalance in patients with maxillary obturators, using PRAAT software.

Materials And Methods: The current study comprised a total of 16 patients who had acquired maxillary defects. Regardless of gender, the age range of these patients was 40-75 years old.

Carcinoma colon masquerading as bleeding per vagina.

Isolated vaginal metastasis from colorectal cancer is a rare entity with very few reports in the literature. Here we report a patient who presented with bleeding per vagina from a vaginal mucosal lesion. Biopsy of the vaginal lesion indicated a metastatic adenocarcinoma from a colorectal primary.

Leptospirosis is a significant zoonotic disease affecting livestock, leading to reproductive issues and economic losses. Despite its endemic status in India, research has predominantly focused on coastal regions, leaving the North Eastern Region (NER) underexplored. This study aims to investigate the seroprevalence and serogroup distribution of leptospirosis in livestock across Assam, a major state in the North Eastern Region (NER) of India.
