Background Breast carcinoma cases are rising steadily and represent a major cause of mortality and morbidity in India. In response to breast carcinoma, the immune system is activated, resulting in lymphocyte infiltration in and around the tumor nests. This interaction between the tumor and immune system is the basis for studying tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs).

Ventricular tachycardia unveiling severe undiagnosed hypothyroidism.

Hypothyroidism is typically associated with bradyarrhythmias, but can rarely precipitate life-threatening ventricular arrhythmias. We present a case of severe hypothyroidism manifesting as polymorphic ventricular tachycardia (VT). A previously healthy woman in her early 50s presented with an acute onset of breathlessness and on examination had hypotension and tachycardia.

Development and validation of a molecular classifier of meningiomas.

Background: Meningiomas exhibit considerable clinical and biological heterogeneity. We previously identified four distinct molecular groups (immunogenic, NF2-wildtype, hypermetabolic, proliferative) that address much of this heterogeneity. Despite the utility of these groups, the stochasticity of clustering methods and the use of multi-omics data for discovery limits the potential for classifying prospective cases.

Effect of Laser Photobiomodulation on Postoperative Pain After Single-Visit Endodontic Treatment in Children: A Randomized Control Trial.

Background: This study aimed to assess the effectiveness of laser photobiomodulation (PBM) in reducing postoperative pain following single-visit endodontic treatment in children aged 5-9 years.

Methods: Forty children aged 5-9 years with acute irreversible pulpitis in deciduous molars requiring single-visit pulpectomy were included in the study. Pulpectomy was performed according to a standard endodontic protocol.

Artificial Intelligence Unveils the Unseen: Mapping Novel Lung Patterns in Bronchiectasis via Texture Analysis.

Thin-section CT (TSCT) is currently the most sensitive imaging modality for detecting bronchiectasis. However, conventional TSCT or HRCT may overlook subtle lung involvement such as alveolar and interstitial changes. Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based analysis offers the potential to identify novel information on lung parenchymal involvement that is not easily detectable with traditional imaging techniques.
