Background: Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is a subtype of breast cancer clinically defined as lacking expression of Estrogen receptor (ER), Progesterone receptor (PR), and Human Epidermal growth factor Receptor (HER2). Psychological distress is a major risk factor of TNBC, patients diagnosed with TNBC are under tremendous stress due to the aggressive nature of the disease. Introduction: Male breast cancer (MBC) is an uncommon malignancy. In spite of conventional Allopathic treatment, long-term disease-free survival (DFS) of more than 10 years in MBC is rare, due to its aggressive nature.

Background: Annual or biennial breast cancer screenings are recommended for women 40 and older. Women residing in rural areas have worse breast cancer survival rates than urban women, but no study has focused on rural versus urban residence in Utah regarding breast cancer screening and mortality.
