Objectives: Fuel poverty, defined in this study as a household's inability to meet basic energy needs, presents a significant challenge. We aimed to map research on the impact of fuel poverty on mental health.
Methods: We searched peer review and grey literature repositories.
People in the North of England live shorter, less healthy lives than those in the South. Despite the significance of this 'North South health divide', regional health inequalities in England are under-researched qualitatively. Existing literature on geographical inequalities in health is largely confined to the neighbourhood level, is quantitative, and consists of very little lay knowledge.

In the UK, the Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector play a vital role in supporting the health and wellbeing of people who are marginalised or experiencing multiple complex needs. However, only a small number of studies have focused on the impact that Covid-19 had on the VCSE sector.
