[Experience with using anisotropic gradient filtration of tomographic images in the roentgenological diagnosis of diseases of the paranasal sinuses].

Radio- and tomogrammes of 335 patients with inflammatory and tumoral pathology of accessory nasal sinus were investigated. Anisotropic gradient filtration of the image, carried out with "Magiskan-2" apparatus was used. The procedure permitted to distinguish small unobstrusive changes in sinal bony tissues, routinely unnoticeable, and characteristic features of shadow structure, facilitating a differential diagnosis of accessory nasal sinus diseases.

[Study of the statistical characteristics of latex suspensions using the Magiscan-2 image analyser].

Characteristics of latex suspensions are studied in order to estimate their potential metrologic application. The study is carried out on the set "Magiscan 2" with the standard programs. Histograms for distribution of perimeters and particle diameters are determined, and the correlation between them is specified.

[Effect of hemosorption on changes in the concentration of neuromediators among dermatosis patients with borderline neuropsychological disorders].

The levels of catecholamines and acetylcholine were studied in the peripheral blood of 56 patients with psoriasis and neurodermitis and attendant borderline neuropsychic disorders. Hemosorption was carried out in all patients, some of them recieving psychotropic therapy prior to it. The analysis of the results showed a difference in the content of the neurotransmitters in the blood of patients with different neuropsychic disorders and also in patients with and without the psychotropic therapy.

[Features of the internal picture of the disease among psoriasis and neurodermatitis patients].

Using experimental-psychological methods, the characteristics of the disease awareness were studied in 25 patients with psoriasis and neurodermatitis. The structure of the disease awareness was found to be strongly dependent on the degree of the cosmetic defect: in patients with a marked defect, the emotional and motivational levels occupy the leading position in the structure of the disease awareness, whereas in patients with a mild cosmetic defect, the sensitive level is predominant.
