Introduction: Patients often perceive flexible bronchoscopy as an unpleasant procedure. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of virtual reality (VR) hypnosis on tolerance to flexible bronchoscopy.
Materials And Methods: We conducted a prospective, randomized, controlled, monocentric study comparing flexible bronchoscopy with VR-induced hypnosis to the usual procedure.
Background: Immunotherapy represents a recent milestone in the treatment of lung cancer, particularly with the rapidly expanding development of monoclonal antibodies targeting checkpoint inhibitors in the programmed cell death-1 (PD-1) pathway, such as nivolumab and pembrolizumab. Classical auto-immune side effects of these treatments, often called immune-related adverse events (irAEs), can affect multiple organs, including the lungs in which potentially life-threatening pneumonitis may require rapid treatment with high doses of corticosteroids. Nevertheless, the occurrence of severe infections in cancer patients treated with nivolumab, outside the context of immunosuppressive therapy, is a complication that has rarely been reported in the literature.

Unlabelled: A young woman presented with initial epileptic seizures and multiple 'mass-like' lesions seen on computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging. Given this presentation and her past medical history, a cerebral biopsy was performed to rule out malignancy, but showed a necrotizing cerebral vasculitis. We describe this case to reinforce the view that primary central nervous system vasculitis (PCNSV) should be considered in the differential diagnosis of a cerebral mass, even if uncommon.

Unlabelled: Herpes simplex viruses are endemic worldwide, with an estimated seroprevalence of approximately 70% in developed countries. However, it is less well known that they are one of the viral causes of fulminant hepatitis (<2%) and constitute <1% of all causes of acute liver failure. We describe the case of an 89-year-old man who developed sepsis caused by a urinary tract infection due to drug-sensitive .
