Agricultural droughts cause a great reduction in winter wheat productivity; therefore, timely and precise irrigation recommendations are needed to alleviate the impact. This study aims to assess drought stress in winter wheat with the use of an unmanned aerial system (UAS) with multispectral and thermal sensors. High-resolution Water Deficit Index (WDI) maps were derived to assess crop drought stress and evaluate winter wheat actual evapotranspiration rate (ET).

This paper presents a power-oriented monitoring of clock signals that is designed to avoid synchronization failure in computer systems such as FPGAs. The proposed design reduces power consumption and increases the power-oriented checkability in FPGA systems. These advantages are due to improvements in the evaluation and measurement of corresponding energy parameters.

Micro- and nano-structural organization and its influence on the efficiency of catalysts used in the heat sources for permeable thermoelectric generators were investigated. Two types of catalyst were studied–elemental platinum on aluminum oxide granulate Pt/Al₂O₃ and mixed transition-metal catalyst on fibrous silicon dioxide Co–Cr–Pd–Sr/SiO₂. The distribution of active components in catalytic structures which contribute to the maximum combustion completeness of organic fuel in heat sources was investigated.

The authors have proposed method of separation of methanol extract of Lactarius pergamenus basidiomes and investigation of fractions extracted with hexane which, according to our previous studies, possess the highest antiproliferative and antifungal activity. Main attention was given to fractionation and analysis by gas-liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (GLC/MS) of the fraction 1.4 extracted with hexane.
