Commercial impedance plethysmograph Ppg2-02 with a specially designed cuvette has been used to monitor specific blood impedance in the course of circulation study in various groups of healthy and diseased persons. The individual measures have been shown to be markedly dispersed from the permissible mean value of the parameter. Relationships between hematocrit and venous blood specific impedance values have been studied.

The end or the central part of the pancreas was resected or pancreatomy was performed in dogs. The morphological and functional state of the thyroid gland was investigated by the histological, histochemical, and morphometrical methods at different postoperative periods. The changes revealed showed structural and functional alterations of the thyroid gland to be dependent primarily on the type of surgical interventions on the pancreas.

These strains which participate in production of cheese with excellent organoleptic properties are active in synthesis of di- and tricarboxylic acids, and also keto acids. Such a relationship was not found in the case of 5-14C-glutamic acid.

The greatest differences between experimental and control cheeses (produced with rennin) in the contents of the above-mentioned constituents were observed within the first 30 days. On day 60 of experimentation, these differences had smoothed down.
