The Punch Graft Technique: A Simplified Protocol for Three-Dimensional Peri-Implant Soft and/or Hard Tissue Augmentation in a Single Step.

Objective: This article describes a clinical protocol utilizing soft tissue augmentation alone or in combination with guided bone regeneration (GBR), introducing simultaneous application of the one abutment one time concept for three-dimensional reconstruction of the deficient ridge.

Clinical Considerations: Soft and hard tissue quality and dimensions are fundamental elements for long lasting results in implant dentistry. Different techniques have been described for soft and hard tissue augmentation at time of implant placement presenting favorable results.

Percutaneous Nephrostomy as a Procedure in the Treatment of Urinary Tract Obstruction - Experiences in the University Clinic of Urology in Skopje.

Introduction: Obstructive uropathy encompasses various urinary tract obstructions, leading to changes in urine flow, kidney pressure, and impaired kidney function. Predicting renal recovery from obstructive uropathy, can be challenging and necessitates treatment, as in percutaneous nephrostomy (PNS) drainage. The choice of drainage method depends on patient-specific factors and local expertise.

The Trapezoidal Sling Suture: A Technical Note of a Novel Suturing Technique for Tunneling Flap Procedures.

The aim of this report is to describe a new sling suturing method with papillary anchorage that is clinically applicable within the available conventional root-coverage tunneling procedures. Although caution is advised to not increase excessive tension on the fragile papilla tips, as they provide coronal and palatal suspension, the tension used with this method ascertains a firm and stable connection for the entire buccogingival graft complex into the horizontal and vertical dimensions of both single and multiple recession defects. This technical note describes the 'trapezoidal sling suture' technique, which allows fixation and stabilization for the graft and flap around both natural teeth and implants.

The expanded mesh free gingival graft: A novel approach to increase the width of keratinized mucosa.

Background: The importance of an adequate amount of peri-implant keratinized tissue and attached mucosa has recently been emphasized. This manuscript presents preliminary findings of a novel approach for increasing the width of keratinized mucosa (KM) around dental implants using a mesh free gingival graft (mesh-FGG).

Methods: Two healthy adults were treated as part of this study.

Laparoscopic Donor Nephrectomy in the Republic of North Macedonia.

: Hand-assisted laparoscopic living donor nephrectomy has become the technique of choice for living donor kidney donations. Since 2018, 30 procedures have been performed at our clinic using this technique. The goal of this comparative analysis was to determine how surgical technique, specifically, hand-assisted laparoscopic living donor nephrectomy with hand assistance may affect early graft function when compared to open classical nephrectomy.
