Molecular profile of oral fluid in new coronavirus infection.

Oral fluid is an alternative biological material that confirms correlations with blood parameters in various pathological conditions of the body. In order to find a non-invasive approach to stratification of patients with COVID-19 disease, molecular biomarkers of the oral fluid have been determined in patients with moderate coronavirus infection in comparison with clinically healthy individuals. It has been shown that proteomic, carbohydrate, macro- and microelement profiles of the oral fluid in coronavirus infection can be used for diagnostics.

Expression of genes for redox-dependent glutathione S-transferase isoforms GSTP1-1 and GSTA4-4 in tumor cell during the development doxorubicin resistance.

Expression of genes for redox-dependent glutathione S-transferase isoforms GSTP1-1 and GSTA4-4 in tumor cells K562, MCF-7, and SKOV-3 was studied during the development of resistance to doxorubicin. It was found that the development of resistance was accompanied by predominant increase in the expression of hGSTP1 gene in MCF-7 cells, and hGSTA4 gene in resistant K562/DOX and SKVLB cells.

[Restorative-reconstructive surgery of the bursal-ligamentous apparatus in chronic lateral instability of the knee joint].

Restorative-reconstruction operations for treatment of chronic lateral instability of knee joint have been worked out. Chronic lateral anterior varus instability is eliminated by restoration of anatomy and biomechanics of anterior cruciate ligament and restructuring of peripheral part of the bursal-ligamentous apparatus by means of creation of fibular lateral ligament and 3 derotators (1 active and 2 passive ones). This operation is indicated as well in case of grave anterolateral instability.

[Oxygenase activity of cytochrome P-450 electrochemically reduced in the presence of methylviologen].

An electrochemical system of cytochrome P-450 reduction in the presence of the water-soluble redox carrier methylviologen has been developed. In this system cytochrome P-450 effectuates a steady-state demethylation of dimethylaniline and hydroxylation of aniline. The results of control experiments suggest that the above reactions are mediated by cytochrome P-450.
