[The metabolic activity of neutrophils and monocytes as the model for the study of the organism biocompatibility with different materials].

In stimulated status neutrophils and monocytes in the foci of introduction the different materials are capable to excrete of biologically active substances by means of which if influence on processes of reparation. The express changes of blood leukocytes activity in response on the introduction of stimulated agents are assume as a basis of the proposed model of the organism biocompatibility with different materials. On example of the influence of different materials (ceramics, titanium, latex, surgical steel and copper), from which can be made implant and surgical instruments it was showed that the leukocytes were showed the different reaction of enzyme systems.

Skin morphology at the site of postoperative cicatrix formed after the use of different surgical cutting instruments.

Experimental morphological study of the postoperative cicatrix forming after the use of scalpel made from a crystal material was carried out. The skin healed much sooner and the resultant cicatrix was more fine in comparison with the wound inflicted by a common metal scalpel.

[Balloon-catheter devices for selective administration of drugs into portal veins].

A balloon-catheter device was designed by means of which part of an organ or zone of the abdominal cavity can be isolated for their administration of medicinal preparations for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. The authors suggested a new method for regional perfusion-infusion in diffuse and local diseases of the liver and the organs of the pancreaticoduodenal zone. It makes it possible to supply the drug to the pathological process by the drip and stream method at a rate similar to that of physiological blood flow.
