Data are reported of a study of the functional state of the biliary in 50 patients with chronic cholecystitis by means of complex employment of dynamic echo- and cholecystography and dynamic computerized gamma-hepatobilioscintigraphy. It was found that dynamic echo- and cholecystography proved highly efficient indicating that ultrasound tomography is of importance not only the diagnosis of structural but also functional disorders in cholecystitis, for the choice of optimal tactics and evaluation of the efficacy of therapeutic measures excluding radiation treatment.

The paper is concerned with comparative assessment of the diagnostic potentialities of the x-ray, endoscopic and pathomorphological methods of investigation. The results of the examination of 100 patients operated upon for nonspecific ulcerative colitis (54) and Crohn's disease (46) were analyzed. The advantages of these methods were demonstrated.

In order to specify the peculiarities of the blood supply of the hip joint in Perthes' disease the authors carried out gamma scintigraphy by 99m Tc-pyrophosphate in 34 children. Patients with roentgenologically confirmed diagnosis of Perthes' disease at various stages as well as those in whom Perthes' disease was suspected, but convincing roentgenologic changes were absent, were examined. The data of scintigraphy and roentgenography were compared.
