[Immunological prognosis of the effectiveness of soybean diet].

During 50 days a group of 23 volunteers received lunches prepared on the basis of textured proteins of soy beans. Each lunch included 50 g of proteins. Laboratory investigation was carried on dynamic values of lipid metabolism, cell-mediated, humoral and local immunity.

[The effect of hemosorption on the glycoprotein concentration of the blood serum in inflammatory diseases of the large intestine].

71 patients with nonspecific diseases of the colon were examined before and after hemosorption for concentrations of seromucoid, orosomucoid, immunoglobulins G,M,A, C3 and C4 complement component fractions, haptoglobin, ceruloplasmin, alpha 1-antitrypsin, C-reactive protein, properdin, transferrin. It was found that hemosorption results in lowering of all the above concentrations in nonspecific ulcerative colitis, except seromucoid and orosomucoid in moderate and acute colitis. In response to hemosorption serum glycoproteins levels varied with the disease severity, its duration and metabolic activity of the liver.

[A method for performing stimulation electromyography of the masticatory muscles in man].

A principal block scheme of an apparatus complex is suggested and a method for examination of masticatory muscle function is described. The method is based on electrostimulation of masticatory nerve followed by registration and analysis of the masticatory muscle action evoked potentials. The block scheme of the apparatus complex includes a universal electrostimulator ESU-2.
